What WebCopier can capture from Webflow
WebCopier can save the public frontend a visitor sees: rendered HTML, compiled CSS, images, fonts, and client scripts that loaded. It cannot download the Webflow Designer project, CMS database, or hosting admin.
What can be captured
- Published page structure and styles the browser received
- Images, icons, and fonts requested during capture
- Client-side interactions that do not need a live backend
What cannot
- Webflow Designer source, Collections, and Editor
- Form endpoints, membership, and ecommerce backends
- Third-party embeds that only work against their own APIs
Interactions offline
CSS transitions that are already in the saved files can still run locally. Interactions that fetch CMS data or hit a form action need the live site. Framer, Wix, and similar builders follow the same rule: frontend yes, platform backend no.
Shopify and Wix note
Do not expect a complete store: cart, checkout, and inventory stay on the platform. You may keep a public storefront snapshot only.
